Servipag was created by the Banco de Chile and the BCI (Banco de Crédito e Inversiones) to help Chilean citizens to pay their utility bills. Nowadays, this is one of the most popular local payment methods across the country.

As Servipag is connected to the financial institutions, it provides customers with multiple options on how to process the payment (exactly 21). The transactions are held in Chilean peso (CLP). Also, the merchants can withdraw the money in USD. It is also impossible to open a chargeback with this payment method.
