Connectors serve as the foundation of your payment processing infrastructure by defining available capabilities for payments. They determine which payment methods, operations, and authentication options you can use for transactions.

  2. Check features to ensure connectors meet your payment needs.
  3. Set up the connector and assign your first MID.
  4. Configure routing, set up payment routing rules.

Connector components

Routing configurations comprise connectors and connector accounts, both of which are essential for the payment processing infrastructure.

  • Connector defines the technical interface and available capabilities for payment processing.
  • Connector account serves as the bridge between your business and payment service providers.

  • General information
    Name, description, supported acquirers, and connector accounts.
  • Payment capabilities
    Supported payment operations, methods, and authentication.
  • Other specifics
    Currency support, settlement requirements, and special configurations.

Connector account

Each connector account includes:

    Account name, description, and legal entity details.
  • Payment capabilities
    Supported payment methods and authentication options, including 3DS and MPI features.
  • Other specifics
    Includes dynamic descriptors, processing currencies, and other special configurations such as network token support.

Payment authentication and features are the same with the connector.

View connectors

Each connector shows its operational status:

  • Active available for new connector accounts
  • Pending under review or configuration, not yet available
  • Inactive temporarily unavailable for new connector accounts
  • Archived no longer supported

Some connectors support multiple acquirers, allowing you to choose the best option for your business needs. Check the connector details for the complete list of supported acquirers.

Via Hub To view available connectors

  1. Go to Orchestration > Available connectors.
  2. Find the needed ID and click on it.
  3. Check payment capabilities and Connector accounts.

They are created and maintained by the Solidgate Integration team and provide the foundation for setting up connector accounts.
