Transaction-tied fees

Discount fee

is a fee that applies to each successful charge of the card (percentage of the transaction amount).

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and successfully charged the customer’s card, the [...Y...] per cent out of such a transaction will be charged. 

Authorization fee

is a fee that applies to each payment request you send to us.

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and the payment is initiated (predominantly by pressing checkout button) or for instance you want to check whether the funds are available, to freeze the funds and charge the card later. This fee will apply for every initiated transaction, to such check or freeze in the amount of a fixed fee of [...Y...] euro cents. 

Capture fee

is a fee that applies to each successful charge of the card (fixed amount in an agreed currency).

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and you made an AUTH transaction (see the example for Authorisation Fee) and froze the funds. This fee will apply for every successful charge (SETTLE) of frozen funds after the AUTH. This will be a fixed fee of [...Y...] euro cents. 

Void fee

is a fee that applies to each voided transaction (which was never captured).




For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and you made an AUTH transaction (see an example for Authorisation Fee) and froze the funds. This fee will apply for every unfreeze (VOID) of frozen funds after the AUTH. If you do not unfreeze (VOID) or charge (SETTLE) the frozen funds will automatically unfreeze in around 5-7 days. This will be a fixed fee of [...Y...] euro cents for every forced or voluntary unfreeze. 

Refund fee

is a fee that applies to each refund transaction.

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and receive a request from a client to refund the funds charged, you will be charged for a fixed fee of [...Y...] euro cents for a refund transaction.

Risk premium fee

if your chargeback rate for the previous month is above an agreed rate, the additional per cent will be added to the Discount fee.

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and during the fees approval stage claim a chargeback rate of [...Z...] but the chargeback rate for the previous month is above [...Z...], then you will be charged with [...Y...] per cent in addition to the Discount fee for each successful transaction.

3D Secure fee

is a fee that applies to each 3D Secure (3DS) transaction. 3DS is a regulatory requirement for some types of transactions and is a mandatory service to process payments. 

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and want to charge the EU customer for the first time, this transaction will be forced to go through enhanced verification (SMS or in-app confirmation). For this additional verification, you will be charged a fixed fee of [...Y...] Eurocents.

Chargeback fee

is a fee that applies to each chargeback transaction. Please note that it can be avoided with help of Chargeback prevention services described below.

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and your customer decided to chargeback the transaction. You will be charged a fixed fee of EUR [...Y...] for a chargeback transaction. 

Monthly fixed fee

if your volumes are below a certain threshold you will be added to other fees charged with a fixed fee.

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and sales volume per month is EUR 300, you will be charged for a fixed fee of EUR [...Y...] in addition to other fees (authorisation, capture, void, 3DS and other fees).

Value-added services

Network tokenization fee

applies to each VTS/MDES card data tokenization.

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and you want to apply recurring payments to this product, the card data can be tokenized with a highly secure and higher-conversion tokenisation technique VTS/MDES. You will be charged a fixed fee of EUR [...Y...] for each tokenization.

Fraud screening fee

is a fee that applies to each transaction checked with the fraud prevention tool of Solid. Kindly check your agreement whether this service has been agreed to be provided to you. 

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and fraudsters may attempt to use compromised credit cards to purchase your product. An anti-fraud engine may prevent such transactions. You will be charged in the amount of EUR [...Y...] for each transaction that will be checked with the engine. 

Chargeback prevention fee

is a fee that applies to each alert on potential chargeback. Kindly check your agreement whether this service has been agreed to be provided to you. 

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and your customer decides to chargeback the transaction. Our Chargeback prevention solution may prevent chargeback from being applied to a transaction. You will be charged for a fixed fee of EUR [...Y...] for every alert on possible chargeback of a transaction. 

Representment fee

is a fee that applies to each chargeback representment

For instance, if you are selling a product [...X...] and your customer decides to chargeback the transaction. You may choose to dispute the chargeback. Solid will represent you before the card schemes and the acquiring bank for which you will be charged for a fixed fee of EUR [...Y...] for every chargeback representation.
