Sometimes there might be rare instances when we can receive a chargeback for the transaction after an alert. However, please bear in mind that such alerts would not be counted to your invoice.
Such cases may occur due to delays in issuing and acquiring banks. The issuing bank may receive a notification about a refund with the delay, or the bank may open a chargeback without waiting for a refund confirmation.
The most common reasons why you may receive a chargeback after an alert:
- The issuing bank did not wait for the alert response and submitted a chargeback.
- The issuing bank experienced technical issues.
In such cases, we challenge alerts on our side and we also monitor and dispute such alerts, so you would not be charged for the alert in this situation.
